Privacy Policy

When you create an account or use Happy Paddle, we collect information needed to provide court bookings and Open Play services.

• Account details: your name and email address, optional phone number, and account sign-in information. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive account information needed to identify you.
• Booking and play activity: the courts or sessions you select, dates and times, quoted prices, booking or registration status, and relevant cancellation, check-in, attendance, or participation records.
• Payment records: payment method, amount, status, provider transaction references, and refund records used to verify and manage a payment.
• Preferences: information you provide for your player profile, such as skill level, and the reminder preferences available in your account.
• Security information: sign-in and request details, including network information such as an IP address, when needed to protect accounts and limit abuse.
• Session data: necessary browser cookies used to keep you signed in and protect your account session.

Happy Paddle uses this information to create and manage accounts, check availability, prepare booking quotes, manage Open Play registrations, verify payments, and handle eligible cancellations or refunds.

We also use account details to send service messages such as email verification, booking and payment updates, and reminders based on your preferences. Security information helps us protect sign-in and booking actions and investigate misuse.

Happy Paddle sends you to a PayMongo-hosted checkout to pay by GCash. The Happy Paddle application records the amount, payment status, method, and provider references needed to match a payment to a booking or Open Play registration and to manage a refund.

Happy Paddle pages do not ask for your GCash PIN. Information you enter in PayMongo or GCash is handled by those providers under their own privacy information and terms.

We use service providers that help operate Happy Paddle. Depending on the feature you use, these include PayMongo for hosted payments and refunds, Resend for service email, Google when you choose Google sign-in, and Cloudflare Turnstile for registration abuse checks. Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers also process information to run the application.

These providers receive information needed to perform their services and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Information is kept for as long as needed to operate accounts and bookings, maintain transaction and security records, handle disputes, and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. Some payment and booking records may therefore remain after a booking or account is no longer active.

The application does not publish one fixed retention period for every record type. Happy Paddle should confirm and publish a retention schedule.

You can update the profile and reminder settings made available in your account. Applicable privacy law may also give you rights to ask how your information is used, request access or correction, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking, and raise a complaint, subject to legal limits.

Happy Paddle uses account permissions and other organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect account, booking, and payment records. Access is limited according to the roles and work that the application supports.

No online service can guarantee that information will be completely secure. Please keep your sign-in details private and tell Happy Paddle if you believe your account has been used without permission.
